MSC Overview

  • This is a cruise line that I'm not as familiar with. I have heard mixed things from people. Some people love it and others aren't as impressed.  They are a decent choice for families especially on the MSC Seaside.

  • They cater mostly to European passengers even in the Caribbean, but they are growing in popularity with North Americans.

  • Their ships are often newer with nice amenities but I've heard that the service and entertainment is not as good

  • They have fares available with  WIFI and alcohol available (VERY basic selection but you can pay to upgrade) at a reasonable price point

  • they have a lot of "fun" activities onboard

  • they have free included kids clubs and programming

  • Room service, shore excursions, internet, fitness classes, and mandatory gratuities cost extra above the cruise fare
