• Celebrity is in the same family as Royal Caribbean, but is considered more upscale.

  • People tend to love the food on Celebrity, and I constantly hear, "The food was okay, but it's not as good as Celebrity" from passengers on other cruise lines

  • The boats tend to be luxurious and visually appealing and elegant, but don't offer the thrills or fun factor that Royal Caribbean, Norwegian or even Carnival do. The Celebrity Edge, their newest ship, has won many awards for its design.

  • Celebrity is a good choice for adults travelling without children who are looking to relax and be pampered and enjoy quality food and ships. They often offer enrichment talks from experts on many different topics and are region specific

  • Celebrity does have kids clubs included; however, it wouldn't be my first choice of cruise line for families travelling with children because the ships don't offer as many activities for kids

  • A lot of the newer Celebrity ships feature an Aqua Spa Café with healthier options

  • Celebrity fares include entertainment, live music at venues throughout the ship, a nightclub open late, a limited room service menu, most dining options, enrichment talks juice, iced tea, lemonade, coffee and tea. You will need to pay extra for soda and alcohol, room service between 11 pm and 6 am as well as premium items anytime, shore excursions, spa treatments, and gratuities
